have shorter lifespans and lose their brightness after about 2000
hours of use. However, the latest models start losing their brightness
after being used for around 60,000 hours.
Advantages of the Plasma
Screen
They have a slim and light weight design. They are often only a
few inches thick. This slimness allows for easy mobility. Plasma
screen tv's can be placed in areas where rear projection television
sets would not fit. This is a big advantage when you are trying
to squeeze on the square footage of your home. Plasma TV screens
give highly accurate pictures and are capable of displaying a wide
variety of colors.
